This is an Urdu translation of Ghazaliyat Hafiz Shiraz , translated by Dr. Khalid Hameed, Hafiz Muhammad Shamas Uddin alias Hafiz Shirazi hails from Shiraz, Iran. His date of birth is not clear in the history. He was probably born between 724 AH to 729 AH. His father name was Bahauddin, who was a merchant in Isfahan, Iran.He left some 500 Ghazals, 42 Rubaiyees, and a few Ghaseedeh's, composed over a period of 50 years. Hafez only composed when he was divinely inspired, and therefore he averaged only about 10 Ghazals per year. His focus was to write poetry worthy of the Beloved. In his childhood he had memorized the Koran by listening to his father's recitations of it, therefore he gained the title of Hafez (a title given to those who had memorized the Koran by heart.). Shikwa Jawab e Shikwa Review:
Shikwa (Complaint) and Jawab-e-Shikwa (Response to the Complaint) are Urdu language poems written by Allama Muhammad Iqbal, which were later published in his book Kulliat-e-Iqbal. The poems are often noted for their musicality, poetical beauty and depth of thought.
Dr. Iqbal used wonderful Urdu vocabulary in this poem and highlighted achievements of Muslims. In Shikwa, he played an oppressed and frustrated Muslim who is being complaining to Allah Almighty. In its second part, he assumed if Allmighty Lord Himself is addressing to this complaining Muslim and answering to his protest. Unfortunately, instead of getting some point out of this wonderful work, some rigid and narrow minded so called Muslim scholars of that era declared Dr. Iqbal a rebellious minded person who is being disrespectful to God. But in the long run, this poem proved its worth and it is still applicable for the whole Muslim world even today.

Saghar Siddiqui Life:
Saghar Siddiqui was born in 1928 in Allahabad. His real name was Akhtar Shah and he use Nasir Hijazi as his filmy name. At the time when Pakistan came into being Saghar was only 19 years old. Saghar Siddiqui came Pakistan from Amritsar. Saghar also wrote many filmy songs. Saghar Siddiqui died on 19 July 1974, he was only 46 years old. Saghar lived a very difficult life, Saghar struggle whole his life to live.
Siddiqui continued to write poetry for the film industry and moved on to publish a literary magazine. The magazine was a commercial flop. Disappointed, Saghar shut down the magazine. In his later life, he fell into depression, financially ruined and addicted to drugs.

Anso Bahana Yaad Hai is written by Hasrat Mohani, Hasrat born in 1878 as Syed Fazl-ul-Hasan at Mohan, a town in the Unnao district, Lucknow Division of United Provinces in British India. Hasrat Mohani studied at Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College which later became Aligarh Muslim University, where some of his colleagues were Maulana Mohammad Ali Jauhar and Maulana Shaukat Ali. His teachers in poetry were Tasleem Lucknawi and Naseem Dehlvi. To honor him, Aligarh Muslim University has a hostel named after him.
