Review Laila ao Majnoon:

This book Laila ao Majnoon is written by Sikandar Khattak, Laila Majnoon is a folk story, famous in the KPK as well as all over the world, when we look at the history, we find that Laila Majnoon is a narrative poem composed in 584/1188 by the Persian poet Neẓāmi Ganjavi, based on a semi-historical Arab story about the 7th century Bedouin poet Qays ibn Al-Mulawwah and his ladylove Layla bint Mahdi (or Layla al-Aamiriya). Nizami also wrote Khosrow and Shirin in the 12th century, a popular poem praising their love story. It is the third of his five long narrative poems, Panj Ganj (Persia)(The Five Treasures). Lord Byron called it “the Romeo and Juliet of the East.”
But in a time everybody narrated this tale in their own words, here is a pashto version of the Laila and Majnoon tale.

Ya Pekhawara pa tha sa shwe de Review:

Peshawar was known in Sanskrit as Puruṣapura , literally meaning "city of men". It also found mention in the Zend Avesta as , the seventh most beautiful place on earth created by Ahura Mazda It was known as the "crown jewel" of Bactria and also held sway over Takshashila (modern Taxila). Being among the most ancient cities of the region between Central and South Asia, Peshawar has for centuries been a center of trade between Bactria, South Asia and Central Asia. As an ancient center of learning, the 2nd century BC. Bakhshali Manuscript used in the Bakhshali approximation was found nearby.
Vedic mythology refers to an ancient settlement called Pushkalavati in the area, after Pushkal, presently known as Charsadda.  In recorded history, the earliest major city established in the general area of Peshawar was called Puruṣapura (Sanskrit for City of Men), from which the current name "Peshawar" is likely derived and was western capital of Ghandhara civilization after Pushkalavati.
After the incidence of 9/11 a flood of destruction came in this city of flowers and thousands of millions flower like humans burnt in bomb blasts, this poetry book reaveals that facts.

Gul Panra is a very interesting book in pashto language, read and enjoy. we are trying to upload as many books of pashto language as possible. but the real sorrow is this that there is a very small quantity of pashto readers. a very interesting philosopy is lying in each line of this book.

“Sometimes, you read a book and it fills you with this weird evangelical zeal, and you become convinced that the shattered world will never be put back together unless and until all living humans read the book.”

The Pathan Pashto Version Reveiw:

This is the Pashto translation of Ghani Khan’s book The Pathan, read online or download for free. The most difficult part of writing is to know where to  begin, just as the most difficult part of speaking is to know where to stop. Nothing is more irritating than a blank sheet of paper staring stupidly into your face when you arc bursting to write but cannot make up your mind how to set about it.
I want to talk about the Pathans, the people I love, which makes my task harder than ever. I want you to love them as I do. But the Pathan is not easy to love. He takes a lot of knowing. His is a most complicated simplicity. I want to bring him down from the peaks of Khyber and the fields of Hashnager face to face with you-in his torn clothes and grass shoes, his eyes full of manliness, laughter and the devil, and his head full of a childish and noble pride-the chief camouflage he uses to hide his poverty and want. Yes, I want to bring him to you and make him talk to you-of his struggle and his dreams, of love and feuds, his field and his watchtower, his new rifle and his old wife.
The undertaking, you will admit, is difficult. No wonder I did not know where to begin. But I have a scheme. I shall make him sing his Jove-songs to you, so that you may feel the throb of his heart. He will tell you a Pathan fairy tale so that you may listen to what he tells his child. He will tell you a story of an incident in his village so that you may see how he lives. He will talk to you about the moon so that you may know how he loves. He will talk: to you about his customs so that you may understand his laws. He will talk of dacoities, raids and duels so that you may know the power that drives him. He will talk to you of priests and magic and charms so that you may know the darkness in his heart. He will talk to you of life and death and right and wrong, and I hope by that time you  know him and after you get to know him I shall butt in and try to talk about him, of his relation to you and his connection with your future. For whether you like it or not he is your neighbour. And on the most unfortunate side of your house- the side that faces Russia. You must know him because Russia will have a lot to say about the shape of things to come. They will come to the Pathan before they come to you.
May I then introduce you to your neighbour! He has a fine turban and intriguing trousers. Let's have a look at him. But before we do that we might as well know something of his race and his origin.

Pashtun culture  is based on Bani Israel God and Pashtunwali, which is an ancient way of life, as well as speaking of the Pashto language and wearing Pashtun dress. The culture of the Pashtun people is highlighted since at least the time of Herodotus (484-425 BC) or Alexander the Great, when he explored the Afghanistan and Pakistan region in 330 BC. The Pashtun culture has little outside influence and, over the ages, has retained a great degree of purity.
Afghanistan and K.P.K was noted for its poetic language even before the Islamic conquest of Afghanistan. The Pata Khazana contains Pashto poetry written as far back as the 8th Century. Some notable poets from the region of Afghanistan-Pakistan include Amir Kror Suri, Khushal Khan Khattak, Rahman Baba, Nazo Tokhi, Ahmad Shah Durrani, Timur Shah Durrani, Shuja Shah Durrani, Ghulam Muhammad Tarzi, Khan Abdul Ghani Khan, and many others.

Pashto-speakers have long had a tradition of oral literature, including proverbs, stories, and poems. Written Pashto literature saw a rise in development in the 17th century mostly due to poets like Khushal Khan Khattak (1613–1689), who, along with Rahman Baba (1650–1715), is widely regarded as among the greatest Pashto poets. From the time of Ahmad Shah Durrani (1722–1772), Pashto has been the language of the court. The first Pashto teaching text was written during the period of Ahmad Shah Durrani by Pir Mohammad Kakerr with the title of Ma'refa al-Afghāni (“Introduction of Afghani [Pashto]”). After that, the first grammar book of Pashto verbs was written in 1805 in India under the title of Riāz al-Muhabat(“Training in Affection”) through the patronage of Nawab Mohabat Khan, son of Hafiz Rahmat Khan, chief of the Barech. Nawabullah Yar Khan, another son of Hafiz Rahmat Khan, in 1808 wrote a book of Pashto words entitled Ajāyeb al-Lughat("Wonders of Languages").
